2012 records: An astonishing series of records began with 1 on 24th April, then 24 flying over north on 1st May (George Green), 7 on the main island on LR South on 2nd May (Dominic Couzens), then 36 on 4th May, 40 on 8th May and an incredible 62 on 10th May (Chris Parnell). Then 10 on 17th May. In the winter, 1 on Hampreston Fields on 3rd November (Alan Pearce), 16 at the same place on 18th November (DC).
