Wednesday 16th October – Holton Lee, near Wareham, morning only
Take A35 past Upton, then A351 at the Bakers Arms roundabout. At 500m, immediately after the Romany Business Centre, sharp left into small lane signed ‘Holton Lee’ on corner. Follow the lane to the main buildings. Turn right into the car park. BH16 6JN. SY960912) £10 per person 10am-12pm
Tuesday 22nd October – The Vyne (National Trust), Basingstoke, all day
Meet at car park. A lovely site for a variety of birds, including waders and gulls; the first Redwings and Fieldfares will be around. Vyne Road, Sherborne St John, Basingstoke RG24 9HL £18 per person. £10.30am-4.00pm
