1 Cetti’s Warbler calling; Snipe x 2 on one of the islands, flushed by a crow; Fieldfare x 1 – settled bird; Redwing x 1 – Settled bird (Paul Morton).
2 Chiffchaffs am (Lorne Bissell).

Black-tailed Godwits, Longham Lakes, 6/11/12 (Dominic Couzens)
Tuesday 6th November Definitely 16 Black-tailed Godwits were feeding on Hampreston Fields (see photo). A notable increase in Blackbirds to usual, with at least 20 present just in the very north of the site. Also 1 1st-winter Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Grey Wagtails, 1 Kingfisher; 1 Goldcrest along Green Lane. 1 Long-tailed Tit on its own along west side, always unusual without company (Dominic Couzens).
Sunday 3rd November
Black-tailed godwit on Hampreston fields pool this morning. Duck numbers (Wigeon, Teal, Gadwall and the odd Pochard) gradually increasing. Chiffchaff yesterday (Alan Pearce).
